First time in 53 years that we have not spent Christmas together. I am going through the motions but it is difficult knowing you will not be with us. Sami misses you and still looks for you at the door around 5PM. Although I miss you, I would not want you back with us and going through the suffering you had to endure the last few months of your life, and especially the last couple of months. Hopefully it is all behind you and you are enjoying a more peaceful place without the worry of pain and medications that you lived with for the last 5 years.
Love, Chickie

Phil was more than my Father-in-law, he was my second Dad. I will forever cherish the memories of our times together, celebrating the holidays and passing the time in the summers. I smile when I think of Lindsey as a toddler in your lap, laughing as you tickled her with the stuffed bunny you gave her for Easter, and the 4th of July parade with you and Lindsey in the 1965 green Buick Riviera throwing candy to the children on Main Street in Freeport, then most recently the pride you shared at her high school graduation. But, my fondest memory is of your hugs that picked me up off my feet and took my breath away. Thanks for raising a terrific son and the love of my life, and for accepting and loving me not as your daughter-in-law, but as your very own daughter. You will always hold a very special place in my heart. I love you Phil.

I will always remember my Father as the greatest Dad I could ever have as a boy and the best friend I could ever ask for as a man. Thank you for giving me every opportunity to experience the best things in life. You taught me patience, the value of hard work and the importance of being your own man as opposed to going along with the crowd. Your positive influence has helped me to become the man I am today. I will always cherish the times we spent snowmobiling and the fun we had exploring and camping on the property. I’m thankful for the father-son time we had on the golf course, and I will never forget Christmas with you and Mom in Florida and the good times we had with Bill on the pontoon boat. I love you so much Dad.

I will miss my father so much and there will never be anything on earth that could fill that void. Dad was the best father anyone could ask for and also my best friend. He was kind, giving, honest and always the highlight of my day when I saw him. Dad was always happy and loved his family. There are no words to express how much he will be missed. Love you dad,

Cuzin' Phil was a very special cousin in my life. As I was growing up on West St., it was Phil who took the very young cousin Sharon for ice cream(the Dixie cups with the photo on the lid and the flat wooden spoons). Thanks for all the memories....
Marilyn, Ken,William and families- I hold you all in my heart. How lucky we all were to have Phil a part of our lives.

Philly I will truly miss being with you and talking with you about all the good times we shared growing up. In our later years we seemed to grow even closed. So my dear cousin you will never be far from my thoughts. I love you and will miss you. Buddy Williams
