Not sure what to say?

I worked with Hortense in the VA emergency room for many years. As soft hearted and compassionate as she was I could never understand how she managed to work for child services and then to be coordinator for former POWs and listen to their horror stories of capture. Thank goodness she was the woman she was because she brought a lot of comfort to a lot of people.

I have thought about Hortense over the years and always with fondness and a good feeling. I know you miss her...

Many loving, fond memories from years past.

I'm so sorry about the loss of Hortense. I have such great memories of her, especially in my teenage years. She would pick me up and take me to church with you every weekend and I'm so grateful for that.

I also remember the time Gayle and I baked a Red Velvet Cake at my house for her birthday.

I'll always have fond memories of her. She was like a second mother to me.

I pray that the good Lord will...

I am so sorry about Mrs Harris's death. May God bless you in this time of sorrow.
