Not sure what to say?

Sure miss our visits, from the 50's, all the way back to when he was torn between bull riding and horse shoeing. We caught up every year at the Houston Rodeo. R.I.P. Clay, Prayers for the Family, see you on the other side!!

Dearest Pat, I am so sad to read of Clay´s death. Knowing you both was one of the high points in my life. Clay was a great man.

Just read about Clay´s passing after visiting Kerrville TX last week. I had the honor of knowing Clay and Pat while working for their CPA in Houston. My sincere condolences to Pat and family. Clay was a very special person. God rest his soul and may His peace sustain you, Pat.

To the family of Mr. Clay Dahlberg,

Hello Pat.
All the “Ted Stewart family“ in Cypress, TX are sending prayers of comfort & peace to you
Ted & Madge sincerely loved visiting with you & Clay @ your Booth, back in the days when the HLSR was smaller & better. You both were such a lovely couple with so much kindness to share.
May God wrap his loving arms around you & give you strength during this time.

Ray & Yvonne Young

We have lost a great man with a huge heart and wish to extend our sincerest sympathies to Pat and the entire Dahlberg family. Dorothy and Tom McDade.

Clay was one of the most authentic people I've ever known. I was close friends with him and Pat when she and I taught school together in Houston. He worked on my horse's hooves, took me with them to his first show at the Cowboy Hall of Fame, and let me hang out every March at his booth selling sculpture at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo. I started my career as an art writer with his guidance in the 70s. He was a wonderful storyteller and historian with a gifted sense of humor. My prayers...

He was a good friend, bull rider, shoed horses, really made it as a sculptor, R.I.P. Cowboy, will miss our annual visits, until we meet again, Ron
