Joan, we were so sad to hear about Howard. We were on vacation so I didn't know until after we got home. Both you and Howard were special to my mom and dad, great neighbors and friends. He will surely be missed. May God be with you and your family.

Hello
I only met Haden briefly, however, he and I are "cousins" of some degree. My mom always spoke highly of him and his family. May you all find comfort in his legacy and knowing that he is with our Lord. He is making music in heaven now!

Melissa, Melanie, and Family - There are no words that will comfort you during this time, but please know you are in my thoughts... Keep and hold all the happy memories of your father close and when you need a smile he will be there. I know it is a difficult time as I have just lost my Dad several months ago. Big hugs surround you. Class of '84

To the family, I am sorry to hear today of Howard's death. He spoke mulitple times at the Virginia Accounting and Auditing Conference that is sponsored by both Virginia Tech and the VSCAP. He always did a good job for the conference, even when he played his string and sang. He will be missed. Let us know if we can help you in some way.

Joan and Family, Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this very difficult time. You and Howard were such a wonderful example of what marriage is supposed to be. We will always remember Howard's love of music and flying. The times of Sunday evening fellowship at your home are cherished memories. God bless you,

Dear Melanie and family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss, your dad was such a great person, I always looked forward to seeing him and speaking with him at the Virginia Tech conferences in Roanoke.
From conversations with you, Melanie, during our years in BPW and working at Ntelos, I know that you were very close to him. I also know from speaking with your dad that he was very proud of you. He was very proud of all his family and loved each of you dearly. It was...
