Not sure what to say?

Dear Mrs. Ausema,
I have so many good memories of Mr. Ausema going back to my childhood at Homewood Reformed. He was always so nice to me and I can remember several times he made a point of coming over in church to talk to me and see how I was doing. I really enjoyed being in bible study with you both a few years back. I have always thought the world of both of you and your family.
Love, respect, and appreciation,

Meghann (TenClay) Salus

Connie -- Please accept regrets for your brother's death from one of your Olson travel group companions in Europe, summer of 1957. I remember you and Laverne Buikema quite well.

To the Ausema Family. Sorry to hear of Howard's passing.

I went thru grammar school with Howard at Kohn and high school at C.V.S. and have not seen him since 1958. Always considered him to be a good friend.

I remember hearing that Howard and George took over Chesterfield Awning as my sister Karen was a close friend of George's wife Marcia.

I lost my wife of 52-1/2 years a year and a half ago and my sister 4 months later.

May your family know...

I was so saddened to hear about the passing of Howard, I have so many fond memories of my youth and Homewood Reformed Church. and I can so easily picture Howard in many of them. I pray for peace and comforting for all of you and know that Howard is looking down on all of us and waiting for us to be re-united in Heaven.

Dear Thea, Dave, Sue and family members: I have many fond memories of Howard. He was someone who I held in high regard...a man of principle whose word you could count upon. I had the opportunity this past summer to speak with him at length one day on the phone. I'll treasure that conversation.

You know that Howard will be waiting for you in heaven; I trust that knowing you will be together again will bring you comfort during the time you are apart. You are loved and prayed for by...

Dear Ausema Family,

Working for both Howard and Dave has been a blessing in my life. Howard was truely a great man and he will be dearly missed.

Dear Thea,
How sad we were to hear that Howard had passed away. We cherished his loving friendship. He truly set an example of what it means to “walk the walk and talk the talk” in every aspect of Christian living. Warm hugs to you and please convey our condolences to all of the family.
Love,
Dennis and Joan Lonstine
