Howard Jefferson Bell

Howard became a very dear friend from the time I met him at Bishop Morris Place back in 1999 until our last good visit in autumn of last year. Howard and I had many wonderful talks and discussions. Of particular interests were talks about his memories of Franklin High School. As he had many of the same teachers as my mother, my grandmother and my great grand uncle. Howard was a friend of my parents (Herb and Viola Lemoine). I went to Franklin High School with Patty Bell (Class of '63). Howard used to drive by our house on S.E. 55th on his way to work. He'd always honk and wave as he passed our house. Such a nice man!
