Howard Earl "Red" Bettner

My tender thoughts go out to all of Mr Bettner´s family. I believe Sherry and Jay are the only survivors that I know but your family and the era in which he lived reminds me so much of my own I was especially touched. I am the youngest of 6 and my oldest 3 siblings served in WW II: Army, Navy, and Army Nurse Corps. I can imagine plans were well underway for his 100th birthday celebration; God must have needed him for something important. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you all. Faith Laird
