KINGSLEY — Howard Gerald Bott, 84, of Kingsley, died Oct. 14, 2009.
He was born in Grand Rapids on Aug. 25, 1925, the son of John and Ella (Fish) Bott. He married Teresa Clous on June 5, 1948.
For 36 years he worked at Cone Drive as a tool and die maker and a research and development engineer.
Howard was a member of St. Mary's Hannah Catholic Church, Kingsley.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa; children, Patricia (David) Ramsay, Rita (Carl) Cray, Donald (Cathie) Bott, Marilyn (Dennis) Odziana, Carl (Sue) Bott, Barbara (Daryl) Crawford and Howard Jr. (Margo) Bott; grandchildren, Denice, Michael, Kevin, Melanie, Stephen, Michele, Richard, Jason, Todd and Christopher; great-grandchildren, Justin, Alicia, Victoria, Miranda, Jake, Nora, Joshua, Hannah Catherine, Nicholas, Grethen, Chloe, Katie, Kyle, Emily, Hannah Sue and Riley.
Howard was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Ann; and brothers, Jerry and Robert.
Visitation will be at Covell Funeral Home in Kingsley today, Oct. 16, 2009, from 5 to 8 p.m., with a prayer service at 7.30 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009, at 11 a.m., at St. Mary's Hannah Catholic Church, Kingsley.
