Howard was my viola teacher at the Putney School in Vermont. I was not a gifted pupil, but Howard was always patient. He also performed regularly and wonderfully on Sunday nights at the school.

I was fortunate to have known Mr. Boyajian for 54 years and even luckier to call his daughter Julie a dear friend. I have alot of memories from growing up down the street from the Boyajian's but my most memorable one of Howard would be the music I would hear from an open window when approaching the front door to see if Julie was home. Your dad was such a character and I adored him. This "pie face" will never forget Mr. B. I used to love watching him feed a banana to the real pie face, or practicing his violin in his home office. I remember when he took us to the Royals game and we had to be very careful not to mess up his immaculate car.
