Not sure what to say?

Miss you but I know you are not hurting any more which is good...Cowboys are so-so this year but I know you are watching them too...Your friend Elaine

July 7th, 2004- Would have been 82nd birthday. Remembering the man with a full heart, knowing that he is in a better place where peace and love are his. Those that loved you still do and remember you in their hearts.

God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be ..So He put His arms around you and whispered "" Russ ,, Come with Me ""... With tearful eyes we watched you slowly fade away ...Although we loved you dearly,, we would not make you stay.. A Golden Heart stopped beating and your hard working hands put to rest... God broke our hearts to prove to us """" He Only Takes the Best Early.."""" HAPPY BIRTHDAY Dear Friend...Love Elaine

My husband and I only knew Russ for a short time but he will be missed by us...""" Old Italian Proverb """.....When a Friend becomes a Memory,,,,,The Memory becomes a Treasure...

I will truly miss my Grandfather and all the times I spent with him when I was younger. I love you Grampa and will miss you but I know I will see you again in Heaven.

In the past 20 years, we all have shared some grand times. Russ would always have a Saint Peter joke up his sleeve and if not that-a shaggy dog tale that would leave you wanting to kill him! The laughs we shared, the trips and fun times playing bridge, cooking out by the pool- how they are treasured and remembered. Those memories are eternal; and love and laughter shared remains. It just is. Friendships are golden and those whose paths cross ours are blessings. Russ, you may be gone, but you...

What a wonderful Man he was...Will be missed a lot...Will miss talking to you about Sports ( Cowboys )...Love Elaine
