Not sure what to say?

I was surprised and shocked to hear about Mike's passing away. I am now with GE Aviation in Cincinnati but I worked with Mike when I was in Steam Turbine and also GRC. He was knowledgable/helpful/approachable and simply a wonderful person who always had something to say whenever we met. I will miss him. Please accept my condolences.

Dr. Rachelle, Bob and I send our heartfelt condolences on the loss of your father. The obituary was so well done, your Dad is a truly remarkable person. Peace to you and your family.

Mike, NASA Astronaut Story Musgrave and Holger Lukas, at Schenectady Planetarium

I volunteered with "Mike" since 2005, up to a few years ago, for ASME.org Hudson-Mohawk Section. He was a wonderful geek & kept our local books straight! The Society of Mechanical Engineers lost a wonderful, Schenectady-region volunteer. RIP Mike. Sincerely, - Larry

Julie & I were so saddened to learn of Mike's passing. We truly enjoyed serving with you and Mike on the Benedict's Board. We offer our prayers and thoughts to you and your family during this difficult time.

Dear Arleen: I was surprised and saddened to learn about Mike's sudden death. He and I had occupied adjacent cubicles at GE Steam Turbine until my (second) retirement in 2009, where he was always a fine neighbor. My wife, Sheelagh, and I were delighted to see you and Mike at the Benedict's dinner dances. Please accept our condolences upon his passing -- Best wishes, Fred Baily, Galway, NY
