Not sure what to say?

Dear Barbara, Kim,Camilla and Bob, Howard was a light for me and so many people. He will truly be missed. I feel so lucky to have had Howard and all of you in my life.I will never forget the many Christmas Eve nights we spent together and all the laughter. Love,Jan

Barb and family,

I am sorry to hear of Howards passing.

He was joy as a patient and friend in Dr Browns office. When Barb and Howard came to the office we always laughed and joked with you both. Howards southern good mornings and smile made our day.

My thoughts are with the family.

Howard was an innovator. He was loved and respected by everyone he met. He was a great competitor who I was lucky enough to meet and spend some time with. Several industries have lost a great friend.
To his family: May God provide you comfort during this difficult time. Be thankful for all of the good times and wonderful memories.
He will be missed by all that knew him.

Godspeed Mr. Buchanan-

To Howard's Family

Howard was a firm but fair leader. He formed Spectradyne into a great company full of great people to work with.

I met my wife at Spectradyne in 1979.

I had many good and rewarding years at Spectradyne. Thank you Howard and may God rest your soul.

With love, Kenny Phariss (Spectradyne 1979-1997)

Dear Barbara and Family,

Although many leave this Earth with a specific legacy, very few leave it with the legacy of great leader, mentor to dozens, passionate family man and business man, compassionate individual, closest friend to so many, a humor second to none and a general lover of life. Howard will be fondly remembered for all of those legacies and more. Many have already stated how fortunate we were to be part of such a unique professional experience; and to top it off with such...

Dear Barbara,
How does one say "Goodbye" to a part of your own life? Howard was not just my boss, he was a most special man in my life, especially during a very difficult time when I lost my son. His arm on my shoulder and the tears in his eyes meant so very much to me. He cared and he shared. My, but did he share! His generosity in time, gifts, verbal appreciation for our work, and concern for our well being, were so far above most men in his place. Yes, we will all meet again, and I am...

Dear Barbara,

As with all people who knew Howard, I have just lost a piece of my heart. I am so lucky to have worked for him and to be part of his Spectradyne family.

Of all the great memories of Howard, the regional meeting at Marco Island stands out. I stll have a lot of Teddy Bears.

Dear Barbara, Kim and Camilla,

You are in my prayers. My hope is that you are all surrounded by people who are taking great care of you at this time. I remember Mr. Buchanan as a warm and friendly hug and great fishing buddy to my dad. He will be so missed.

love, Debbie Gatlin
