Howard E. Butt Jr.

We remember well Howard Butt in Winston-Salem, NC in the 1960's when he spoke at First Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. How he loved the Lord, His Word and bore witness of his commitment to Jesus Christ. Thank God for this servant and his ministry to young people like my wife and I. He practiced what he preached. May his service to our Lord live on!!

The legacy of Mr. Butt will live on. When I was a kid, my church had a retreat out at the HEB Foundation Camp. It was awesome. The little signs above the doors made this camp different, it pointed to the greatness and goodness of our Great God. Mr.Butt's camp became a landmark in my mind and faith. Over the years, I was able to lead groups to his camp and experience God's presence and saw it touch the minds, hearts, and souls of many kids, teens, young adults, and families. At Mr....

I did not know Mr. Butt except by reputation and by his radio spots. He was obviously Buena Gente as is said down here in deep South Texas. My sincere condolences to his family.

I didn't know Howard, however I just wanted to let the family and friends know how sorry I am for the loss of your loved one. Please know that your family will be in my prayers. (John 11:1-44)
