Howard James Clegg

What a life your father lived! He was such a pillar to our community and church. Your father and mother have served as excellent models for many people, young and old. I am certain that they will be missed and welcomed by all who have gone before them. Love to all of the family.

sorry to hear the passing of your Father...both your Father and Mother were great examples to me and my family, living in the Tooele 1st Ward for many years. I always looked forward to Fast and Testimony meeting as brother Clegg bore his testimony, to this day I can hear him telling us to be mindful of the water for the crops and the animals...wonderful people, truly noble in all they did. I am from Pine Canyon, oldest daugther of Melvin J. and Jan Shields.
From the time I was knee-high to a grasshopper even I knew the name of Howard Clegg!!! That's how important of a man he was and involved with everyone and everything!
My Mom and Dad both spoke highly of Howard and his many accomplishments here on earth.
We are deeply saddened to hear of Howard's passing.

I was sad to read of the passing of your dad. It is a hard time of year to lose someone close to you. I am sure he was a great man. Looking at his posterity you can tell he lived well.
