My condolences to the family. I remember Howard when I was a little girl growing up in Kaltag many years ago. I was happy to see him and the family made it back for Stickdance 2012. RIP Howard.

Howard had a great impact on students in Kaltag, where he coached both girls and boys nordic skiing teams to first place in the state small schools meet. He will be missed, though he will also be very fondly remembered.

A wonderfrul teacher who loved the native community and the students he taught. He was one of my favorite teachers in Kaltag,AK. My condolences to his family.
