Not sure what to say?

Sincerest sympathy to Howie's family. I saw the remembrance on PBS and immediately recognized him, after 60+ years. I knew him primarily in Student Government/Student Court at Duquesne University. He was always looking out for others, even insisting on walking my roommate and me back to the dorm after a dance on evening (the "bluff" area was not the safest). Cynthia and family,
Brian and I are very sorry to hear this sad news about Howard. He will be missed on H Dock. Please know you are in our thoughts.

But what great memories I have of our friendship. Everyone called him Smiley for that great smile of his. In reading his obituary, I am fascinated by his incredible...

To the Croft immediate Family, all relatives, and close friends of the family - both near and far, I send my sincere condolences to everyone on the passing of Howard, at this sorrowful time. May God and His Angels comfort all of you, and may Howard rest in eternal peace in God's loving care.
