Not sure what to say?

It is truly a sad day to find out "dad" past away. I remember as a small kid making model planes with him that seemed to take forever to build because he was into the small details. The water decals took the longest. Had to be straight, had to be in the right spot on the plane and most important the American flag decal had to be perfect with no wrinkles in it.
On top of a football fan, he was a Red Sox fan. My sister Kim framed the two tickets I still have hanging on my baseball wall of...

When I first started at the Springfield Newspapers it was at the advertising office located on Fort Street. At that timed Bud was called inside advertising sales. The Dispatch Department was at the entrance of that office and Bud worked at the very front . It wasn't long before everyone moved over to the new building on Main Street. Many condolences to the Curry family. Bud was truly a sentinel, he fought his illness will courage, and bravery. I am saddened with his loss, but, filled with many memories by our work together. Deb Salvini

To the Curry family,

My condolences to you at this sad time.

I knew Howard from when I worked at Barnes. I now work at Baystate Health, and it was heartwarming to hear that the good people at the Cancer Center were a comfort to Howard. Your gratitude for blood donors (I am one) and your emphasis on the importance of this program is very appreciated. It is admirable and inspiring that in such a time of sorrow, you find the grace to have said these things.

It was an honor to know and have worked with you. You were a true Patriot and will be missed. Rest In Peace, my friend.

My thoughts and prayers are with you Bonnie and your family. ❤

Bonnie,

May your many, many happy memories with Bud bring you peace and comfort. Like you, I suspect he, Nielsen, George Keefe and others are meeting again in the great beyond. Thinking of you.

People of Bud's quality of person are rare. I worked with Bud and his dad at Springfield Newspapers for several years.

Ooooh the laughs I had with Howie! He had a great sense of humor and a laugh you never forget. A mind like a steel trap. If you wanted to know anything about the history of Barnes, you asked him. RIP my friend. "Just say the words!!!!!!!"
