Not sure what to say?

He was very proud of his work and involvement with Eagles album covers!

31 December 2022 Hey Pard, At El Novillo this mornin, went to your favorite TOP WATER COVE, the Bass are still there! Verde

I remember when we were going to UTEP and was late for our guitar class, it was Howard, Jeff Littlejohn Me and another that I dont remember his name but we walked single file into class and whoever was in front stopped and we all did a three stooges act and ran into each other. Miss you Howard

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

This is late in coming. I remember many times visiting you in the valley, when Randy was in the Loboys. Between then and the last time I saw you, at Hal’s passing “get together” in Marfa, both you and I went off and lived our lives for better or worse, on our separate journeys. I am so grateful that we got to spend time together that day in Marfa. I’m grateful for the kindnesses and acceptance your family showed to me! I wish we could’ve gotten to know each other better! Maybe another time....

We were only just children, yesterday. How could the time have moved so quickly to take you away? You were such a help when Mom was ill and when she finally passed. I remember your indulgence at Aunt Laura's when we spent the time there together, Howard. Those long weeks for art and drinking ginger ale. Your kindness and patience with me are forever in my heart, beloved cousin.

A TRUE Friend & Fishing Partner, so many GREAT times at El Novillo. You are missed Mi Amigo!

It's been so long since we've seen each other but I remember us growing up in the same neighborhood. Rest in peace and God Bless you, Boyd and Mac and the rest of your family.

Our family has so many wonderful memories of the Elder family....almost all of us Crout kids went to school with Mack, Boyd and Howard. We also loved their Mother, Billie. I know you will Rest In Peace mY old friend, thank you for being an important piece of all of our lives. Sending our love on the back of a dove.....Jody Crout, El Paso, TX
