Howard C. Ferris

I just learned of Howard's passing. We all grew up together at :The Lake" Merwin. From the time we met as kids and forever, Howard was one of the nicest, honest & upstanding people I've ever know. To Lisa & Sue, having just losing my brother, Nate, I can only imagine your feelings. It's not easy, but, we all know Howard is in a better place. My prayers are with you all. God Bless

Howard was friendly and loved the LORD so much. I will cherish our talks, was not around them in his latter years but got to know him at Pacific power when I temped as a Secretary. He will live on in thought and memory, and Heaven.

I met Howard 30+ years ago when we both worked at Pacific Power, and I will always remember him as a man of integrity and honesty, in a world where both seem to be in short supply.

So sorry to hear about Howard , my thoughts and prayers are with you .

What a loving memorial it was. I could easily envision Howard smiling upon all assembled. It was my great honor to work with him and to witness the love everyone shared for him. Thank you.

Leslie, when I met you both 2 months ago at your church, I was so amazed at your dedication to Jesus and the gospel. I had an instant connection with you both with our love for Jesus as our bond. As I told Howard then, you both are heros to me for your pouring out of your lives for the one thing that will matter for eternity. Myself and everyone who knew Howard are so sad for your loss of a great husband, Father, son and mighty man of God. You are in my prayers my friend.

My heart and prayers are with the family and friends. I remember Howard at our 40th high school reunion! I have loved reading all Howard's posts on Facebook about his sharing his faith with everyone. I admire him and know that Howard has joined God in heaven! You are so lucky Howard!!!

I was so sorry to hear Howard passed. I didn't know him, but reading the Guest book he sounded like a wonderful man. I know how much you will miss him. I have you all in my prayers.

Words cannot express the sorrow I feel over losing Howard Ferris. He was a fine colleague, a great mentor, and a true friend.

Attached is one of the many memories I will cherish of Howard. He and Leslie came to my 50th birthday party a few short months ago and posed in my photo booth . . . Howard always joined in my own personal celebrations, and now I mourn his passing.

May you all be comforted knowing that Howard touched many lives here on this earth and he is now...
