Howard Brainerd Foltz

Howard and his brothers were a staple growing up in Haddam Neck. From riding minibikes to swimming in Brainerd's Pond, they were the best gang to hang out with. My condolences to the Foltz family, Howard will be missed.

I met Howard in kindergarten at March Achool in Easton. I continued to be in classes wth him until he went to Lawrenceville. I attended church activities wth him as well. He was always friendly, kind and fun to be around. I am so glad to have these wonderful memories.

Howard was an avid skier and instructor as well as dedicated member of the Professional Ski Instructors of America. He also actively participated on a committee to help build our education foundation in order to make education and certification more accessible, particularly to younger employees in the snowsports industry. He will be missed. My sincere condolences to all friends and family.

Howard was one of the first people to welcome me when I joined the Foundation Board. He was very supportive and helpful. I will always remember his kindness and positive spirit. Rest well.

Pam, Kate and Ben, my thoughts and prayers are for you. May you find peace during this troubling time.

Howard was a warm and generous colleague, fellow ski enthusiast and instructor. I was always pleased to work with him and to learn from him. Although he is gone, he leaves an enduring legacy comprised of the many, many positive, impactful impressions he made on others. Thank you - Howard, we are grateful.
