Howard J. Frederick, 88, passed away at his home while under the care of his family and Hospice of Jefferson County.
A graveside service will be held at the North Watertown Cemetery on Friday, October 13th at 11 am. Calling hours will be held at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home, Thursday, October 12th from 4-6 pm.
Surviving is his wife of 69 years, Josephine A. Frederick, his children, Timothy P. (Mary) Frederick, CA; Howard G. (Cindi) Frederick, Clayton; Gregg A. Frederick, Watertown; Vikki-Lynn Frederick, Watertown; Steven J. (Carole) Frederick, OK; Cherri D. (Scott) Maitland,Moravia; Kevin S. (Leslie) Frederick, Watertown and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Jefferson Co., 1398 Gotham St., Watertown, NY 13601, SPCA, 25056 Water St., Watertown, NY 13601 or to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675.

Howard was an amazing man and I was proud to be his daughter in law. He was father to 7 children and grandfather, great grandfather and so respected and love. I will never forget his mischevious infectious smile. I feel so blessed to have married his first born son, Tim, and become a part of this amazing family. RIP Howard 'Dad' Frederick.
