GELLING-Howard G., Jr. Tragically on September 11, 2001 at the age of 28. Howard was a Managing Director at Sandler O'Neill and Partners, working on the 104th floor of Two World Trade Center. Beloved husband of Christine O'Reilly, devoted son of Howard, Sr. and Dorothy, loving brother of Deborah and William, dear grandson of Margaret Cleary and Myrtle Gelling. Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Howard touched so many in such a short time. His generosity and enthusiasm for life are an inspiration for those who knew him. A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, October 1, 2001 at 10:30am at the Church of Our Lady of Victory, Floral Park, N.Y. To honor Howard's memory, donations can be made to Xaverian High School/Howard G. Gelling, Jr. Memorial Scholarship care of Xaverian High School Development Office, 7100 Shore Road, Brooklyn, N.Y. 11209.

Hi Howard, we have never met but your brother Bill & his wife Christina are very dear friends of mine. You probably already know this but they recently had 2 gorgeous twin baby girls.
