I just discovered that my Mother went to high school in Woodmere with Howie! She says his picture is as beautiful as ever. And I am sure I know Howie from Ft. Lauderdale. How strange that my Mom and I never connected the dots!

Howard and Bill were among the first people I met when I moved to Fort Lauderdale in 1969. A flood of wonderful memories washed over me when I learned that Howard had passed.

My sincere sympathy goes out to his sister, Lenore.

Howard was a shining STAR to all who were privileged to know him. May he rest in peace.

MAY YOUR KLEIG LIGHT SHINE IN HEAVEN AND OUR HEARTS FOREVER.

Howard was a hoot. My partner Leo and I met him and Bill the first time they came to Provincetown looking for property 15 or 16 years ago while they were visiting our good friends Sandy and Fred. We were having dinner at The Moors, were introduced to him and Bill, Howard joined us, we hit the town, and it was the beginning of a friendship that was quite special. When Leo died, Howard was one of the first people to call me. We had a good cry over lost love.

God speed, Howard.

We loved Howard the moment we met him at a friend's home in Provincetown 15 years ago. The sound of his voice and the stories that he told were unforgettable. He made us feel warm and welcome and never failed to make us laugh. We will miss him very much.

I remember Howard very fondly and was sorry to hear of his passing. I worked with Howard at Hollywood Playhouse and enjoyed every minute of my time spent with him and with Billy. He was charming, funny and talented. I did not know that Billy had passed but am glad that they are now together. They had a wonderful life together and enjoyed a love that few ever achieve.

A prayer will be said on his behalf from both my husband and me.

With warm and fond memories of...

Howard will be greatly missed.

I cannot fully express in words how grateful we are to have had the friendship of such a life loving person for so many years. I would always tell Howard, "I want to be just like you when I grow up"!! It is with deepest affection for Howard that we express our condolences to Lenore and the entire family.
