It was my fortune to know Howard's mother, Marilyn. A marvelous, vivacious woman, she loved and was so proud of her entire family. The way she spoke of them, the memories she shared, were always heartwarming. Our connection and multiple visits were through Bob, her husband. Cindy, it's Gaye Lyn from Veterans Air Express, the 1945 air line. I, too, am sorry for your loss in 2014. I regret that I never got to meet Howard. I spoke to Marilyn just before Heather's wedding (about which Marilyn was so excited). And again five weeks ago. Now I've lost phone contact with her. Give her my love and please reach out to me. (I'm sorry for leaving a message here, but all else has failed. Forgive me.)

Always wondered what happened to friend Howie; sad, now I know.
We 1st met in Santa Cruz, we worked at a frozen foods packaging plant & we were neighbors. We traveled to Mexico, in his Olds Delta 88, "freighter". We picked up those Mexican blankets that we love so much. I still have mine & think of Howie & that trip, every time I see one.
Sorry for his loss.
