Howard R. Hammond

I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Howard on caregiving issues. He was a delightful and giving man with a passion for many worthwhile causes. He was full of energy and lived his life well! My condolences to his family, friends, and community.

I was so sadden to hear of Howard's passing. I first met Howard in 1972 when I went to work at the Iowa Department of Public Instruction in Des Moines, Iowa. I was located in the same office as Howard. Howard was a mentor to me and taught me many things about credentialing and vocational education.
