Not sure what to say?

Here it is May 23, 2014, and I still miss you, dad. I always will. It seems that we only had such a short time together, but I treasure all of it.

Gail, it was so good to see you, Champ, Eddie, and all the family last month. You do have your Daddy's smile. I too miss Uncle Howard.... his smile, his sense of humor, and his pride and appreciation to be an American and a soldier for his country. I miss all my aunts and uncles that have gone home to be with the Lord. Being the youngest grandchild, my kids came along so much later; I wish my children could have known them. More and more I am looking forward to that great family reunion in...

For those of you who might occasionally visit my dad's guest book, and if you knew him, please help us to keep his memory alive by leaving your fondest memories of him.

My family and I had the opportunity recently to visit with our Hargrove relatives for an old-fashioned cookout and gathering in Manson, N.C., the area of dad's birth. Wow! We had a wonderful time! Everyone were so friendly and happy - just as my dad was. I saw his smile on many of his nieces and nephews' faces. I...

God, I still miss my dad. His pictures make me smile and feel warm inside. I am grateful to you God for having blessed me with such a wonderful father. I pray for all of those who have experienced such a loss. However, I take comfort in knowing my family and I are covered by the blood of Jesus, Your Only Begotten Son. - Gail

Thank you Miss Karen. That means so much to us.

Thank you, Karen.Your entry means so much to us. Eddie will be thrilled and so am I. Thanks to you and your mom for loving my folks.

On behalf of Agnes Jefferson, I send this message of love and caring to Gail and family. Our lives are enriched by the love and time that we have with our family. They can not be with us forever, but their memory will.

I received a letter from a longtime friend/sister of Josephine and my dad from New Jersey. She just recently learned of my father's death. I cried because I could not reach her nor others at the timefor having misplaced their contact information or information was no longer valid. Her letter and memorial gift today, March 28, 2011, brought joy to my heart! I now feel somewhat reconnected to my parents' New Jersey ties - a place they both dearly loved. God,thank you for Aunt Agnes' letter. I...

This is our first Thanksgiving without my dad. I miss him dearly. However,I am thankful that he was here as long as he was. I am thankful that he's no longer suffering. I am thankful that he is in a better place. I am thankful that God blessed him to be my dad.

Happy Thanksgiving, Dad
