Our sincerest sympathy in the loss of Howard. He was my first cousin. His mother and my mother (Annie Bortner) were sisters. God grant you peace and comfort during this most difficult time.

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Herbst passing. He was our neighbor on N Park St in Dallastown for many years. We would see him walking daily and he was quick to nod and smile or stop and talk to my girls. What a gentle giant Heaven has received! Rest peacefully!

Mr. and Mrs. Herbst lived across the street from my grandparents on Pleasant Ave. I grew up waving to them on my family visits. When I moved back to Dallastown, I would see Mr. Herbst walking his dog every day. I missed seeing him over the last few years and my husband and I just spoke about him wandering how he was. Please accept our deepest sympathy in your loss. Your mother and father were wonderful people!
