Not sure what to say?

Just got this sad news recently at our 50th high school reunion. Many memories as soccer teammates and as part of the Friday night football announcing crew along with our friend Randy Bauer. My condolences to his family.

I am saddened to see that Dr. Hessan has died. I saw him for my sinus issues, and he was always so calm, thoughtful, and measured. The sinus surgery that he performed on me drastically changed my life for the better (no more sinus infections that dragged on and on). He was one of my all-time favorite doctors. He will truly be missed. My condolences to his family.

It was sad to hear about Howard's passing just a few days ago. He was a well loved physician and friend for more than 30 years, treating my mother and me on numerous occasions. Later, we were colleagues on staff at St. Agnes, and he was very supportive of me when I entered medical school in middle age. Knowing he was there when my family needed him, engendered calm and confidence. He was not just a consummate, skilled physician, but also a gentle, kind, and warm man. He will be greatly missed.

I am so sorry to hear of Howards' passing. We were in grade school, junior high , and high school together. God speed!

Doctor Hessan performed a record eight(!) ear tube procedures on my so between the ages of two and seventeen. He was so patient and good humored with my boy who is on the autism spectrum and not an easy patient. I am so sorry to hear of his passing! May his memory be a blessing to all who loved him.

Dr. Hessan was an excellent Doctor and an incredible person. I am very sad to learn of his passing. Prayers to his family.

I just recently learned the sad news of Dr. Hessan's passing. He was a wonderful doctor. He was kind, compassionate and so knowledgeable. He treated my daughter first and then took me on as a patient for many years. I always felt safe in his care and trusted his diagnosis. We need many more doctors like him. You could also tell how proud he was of his family as he always spoke so lovingly of them. I wish his family and friends peace as they grieve his loss.

Dr. Hessan saw my Daughter and referred her elsewhere, but he was the BEST. You will be missed dearly! St. Agnes Family

Dr. Hessan performed my 2 yr old's adenoid removal surgery and his ear tubes surgeries. He was the best doctor/surgeon I've ever encountered and he had a way of calming my and my son's fears. My son is now 15 and he still remembers the "doctor with the balloons." I saw Dr. Hessan a few years ago for an ENT issue I was having, because I knew he was the best. He still was after all those years. I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing. I'm glad I had the chance to experience his quiet...
