My Uncle Howard will always be an incredible influence in my life. He taught me how to use chopsticks for Japonica takeout when I was just two years old, which was the beginning of a lifelong affinity for Asian cuisine. I also remember watching him sketch and paint, using the most intricate strokes with an unmatched amount of patience. To the rest of the world, Howard was an accomplished artist and architect.
