Not sure what to say?

My family knew Howard and Elwanda for a long time. They opened their home and their hearts to us. I remember going down to go to the races with Howard,Nancy and Jean and Elwanda packing lunch for all of us. Our deepest sympathy and prayers in Howards passing.

Howard was a kind and gentle man who always made us feel welcome and accepted. His home was the neighborhood hang out as we grew up. He and Elwanda had so much patience and taught us so much by example. I will always see both of them with a warm, welcoming smile.
Howard's funeral was beautifully done and so inspirational. What a wonderful job and tribute from his grandsons. He would have been so incredibly proud. They are surely following in his footsteps.

Carol and Dan and David and wife,

So sorry to hear about Howard. I truly loved Howard like a father. He taught me many things as I grew up on the lake. He was a real kind man and truly interested in young people when I was growing up at the lake. The whole Jester family was real special to me. I will miss Howard a lot . My prayers ar with you all at this time.

Love,

Butch Reynolds

Howard taught me so much in the 20 some years I knew him. I have several of his woodwork, which I cherish dearly. May he rest in peace and be with his loved ones.

For as long as I knew Howard, I looked to him as another one of my uncles.Nancy was my Aunt. I have so many shelves; and woodwork, that howard made for me. I will always treasure the time that I spent with him in my younger years. Last time I saw him was at Aunt Nancy's funeral, and he still remembered me falling in the lake, trying to catch that bounce ball. Howard will be greatly missed. My condolences to the whole family.
