Not sure what to say?

We will miss Mal terribly. He was one of those people you immediately like when you meet them. My sister (Linda KIng) said it all in her comments. Rest in peace dear Mal - say hi to my Dad. Love you, miss you and will never forget you.

Deepest sympathies to the family.

On behalf of my mother, Jean Mott, and the entire Mott family, may I extend our condolences to you all. There is a great reunion going on up there in heaven, with my dad, Kenneth L. Mott, Jr., at the front of the line. "Kenny" and "Mal" served together in the 4th Marine Division during WWII and remained life-long friends, even though on separate coasts. I know my mother will miss his phone calls which Mal continued to make even after my dad's passing almost 10 yrs. ago. I was fortunate...

My condolences to Alexis, Cynthia and Family. I will so much miss those Breakfast Club meetings at Baker's Restaurant in Dillsburg when Howard and I got together to discuss the "weekly sitrep." When I 1st met Howard I didn't know what to expect but I very quickly realized that he was one of the Greatest Men of the Greatest Generation. I will never forget him.

Howard saw my Marine Corps flag flying when I lived in Shiremanstown and invited me to attend his, and his buddies, Breakfast reunions at the Colony House in Mechanicsburg. I am a peace time Marine so I did not have the war stories but I loved to hear his/their WWII stories. I moved to South Carolina, in 2009 and remarried. I have never got back to the area but I have thought about him often as I am a Docent at the Parris Island Marine Corps Museum and see many exhibits pertaining to WWII....

Heartfelt condolences to the family of Howard Jones. He was a very special person - giving of his time to lift the spirits of those in the hospital or housebound. His visits to my father were greatly appreciated over the years. He will be sadly missed.
