During the early 70's, I really enjoyed being around "Goober" and working with him at U.S. Steel in the Brickmason Department. His humor made up for bad days. He will be missed.

Sorry I could not attend the funeral as I was out of town. "Goober" Bruce was among my best friends. I remember him as great EHS football player who played hard. Also, he loved life and showed it. RIP Bruce !

I worked at City Hall in Hueytown where I met Bruce. I will always remember his voice, laugh, and smile. He was especially happy when leaving work and exclaiming "Let's go turkey hunting!" Praying for his family.
