Howard Kligerman

I am extremely saddened to learn of Howard´s passing. He and were in SU´s counseling program together, in fact i was there when he and Nacee met. We both took jobs with SCSD and worked together for a few summers painting houses as `S and H painters´. Howard and I ran several running races together (he always finishing before me). I have a cherished photo of he and I after we finished the mountain goat 10 mile race in Syr. He was one of the only friends that my wife Pamela really liked....

Wish I could talk to Mr Kligerman one more time. Very few adults helped me as much as Mr Kligerman when I was a teenager at Fowler. I wish I could tell him how impactful he was and to let him know the hand he had in my adult life. Thank you for everything, Mr Kligerman. You´ve been missed and will continue to be missed. I was fortunate to play with Howard in the orchestra. If the woodwinds made a mistake he´d lean forward and join in the laughter. He was a kind hearted soul who could make you laugh with a joke. He will be missed.

Howard was at Fowler High School in Syracuse when I was a student there.

I have many fond memories of Howard; it was always fun to talk with him wherever we found ourselves. He was an extraordinary Guidance Counselor, so well regarded in the SCSD. My sympathy to Howard´s family and all who loved him. Rest In Peace, Howard.
