Howard Ray Landers, age 58, of Florence, died Friday, Aug. 24, 2007.
Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26, 2007, at Spry Serenity Chapel, Florence. His funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 27, 2007, in the funeral home chapel, with Brother Tommy James officiating. Interment will follow in Barnett Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his father, Chester Landers, and his father-in-law, J.T. Taylor.
Mr. Landers was a member of the Moose Lodge, Elks Lodge, VFW and the American Legion.
He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Pamela Landers; mother, Tillie Landers; three loving daughters, Kimberly Moss and husband, Keith, Courtney Landers and Rachel Landers, also Cassondra Houser; brothers, Marvin, Jimmy and wife, Margaret; sisters, Marie Landers, Evelyn Cameron and husband, Curtis, Vicky Boggus and husband, David; his grandchildren, whom he loved dearly, Alli, Kristen and Katie Moss, Landon Landers, Ky'Leigh Landers. He also is survived by a special mother-in-law, Dorothy Taylor; brother and sister-in-law, Keith and Karen Taylor; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
