Dear Midge,
Thank you so much letting me know about Howards passing. I know it has been a long stuggle for him and you. I'm sure his love of wine and more importantly his love for his family kept him going these past few years. I will miss him and our frequent wine discussions. Hope you will stop by when you get a chance.

My sincerest condolences to Midge, Howard and Midge's children, Sarah and David, their grandchildren and all of Howard's family. I had the privilege of working as Howard's secretary for the last 25 years. I respected his intelligence and integrity. He was a real gentleman and I will miss him very much.

We were fortunate to have been mentored by him in countless ways, both professionally and personally.
