It's been several years since we worked together at the Mercantile Bank and I miss Howard and his brother, Clarence.
I also have fond memories of hunting and fishing trips occasionally with them and my uncle, Buster Ellis, back in the 40's and 50's.
We will keep the family in our thoughts and prayers.

As a young management trainee at the Mercantile in 1962, I remember Howard as always being friendly and helpful to every employee and he became a role model for all who knew him.
