Not sure what to say?

Ardith, my sincere condolences to you & family. I have some darling photos of you & family that were taken when my mom was there. I have been trying to get ahold of you. Daughter of Melba & Benne Yukon. Sandra Walton

To Mrs Marguleas and family:
I am Warren Brown and I was the Division Manager the Agribusiness and Commercial Loan Division of First Interstate Bank and was located in Phoenix. In the Mid 80's I met Howard and we became friends. I enjoyed my time with him on helicopter rides over the Irvine Company holdings, touring the Mango plantings and the social side at Bob Hopes home in the desert at a fundraiser. Every experience with him was a learning experience and certainly one of the best...

Ardith,
Going through my mother's ( Melba Yukon) things, there were a couple of photos of your family & phone number that no longer exists. Upon googling Howard's name, there was his obituary. I am so sorry for your loss. Even though it has been a year, the loss is still there - so difficult. My email: [email protected]. If you would like the photos, just let me know. My deepest sympathy. Sandra Yukon Walton

Ardith.

I just learned about Howard. He was a great friend and kept his word and outperformed expectations in everything and with everyone he business with. He was a truly humble and wise person and greatly influenced those around him for good and not evil all his days.

Howard, you were an important source of inspiration for all of us at the Leichtag Foundation and all of the Community Farmers at Coastal Roots Farm. Your generosity of spirit and enthusiasm for farmers will endur in our time and beyond. Your life has been a blessing. Farm on!

Here it is three days later and I am learning of the icon's passing.

It is never easy to lose those who have touched our lives...it goes without saying it is no comparison to losing your loved one. I am honored to have known him and have been (at one time) accepted as an asset to his company.
An impressive presence to be sure.

Family, -- Peace. Strength. Love. Solitude. Whatever it is you need at this moment is what I wish for you.

There are so few comforting...

Howard, I am grateful and privileged for being your friend for almost 30 years, and the +100K mango trees in the desert that grew up from this friendship are a living proof that dreams come true if you want them hard enough. You knew how to make things happen and you will continue to live in me forever. David and family, my heart goes out for all of you, trust you'll continue with your father's mantra and never give up or give in.

Howard was a true powerhouse and always kind to me - even when I helped him with the door at Felix's service. May he rest in God's Peace. I wish you all Peace - Ardith, David and family.

What an honor for me to attend Monday's service in San Francisco. I have known Howard almost 40 years. He was my boss, my mentor, like a father figure. His influence on my life is persistent. When I was looking for work after my husband's death, Howard helped me. He was always there for me, and I hope I was for him. Thank you, Marguleas Family for making me so welcome. May Howard rest in peace. Kathy Ray
