Not sure what to say?

My grandpa was in the service with him and when I looked up "Howey" as my grandfather called him we found out he passed and he was really upset. After he had been looking for him for years to find out he died 12 years before. He showed me this picture of him from '66 when Howard was 20 and in the barracks. And he was so full of life. Our condolences.

Dear Family,

Diane and I were very saddened to learn today of Punky's passing. Diane grew up with Punky and I had the pleasure of knowing him in high school. Having known Punky was a great pleasure. He had a heart of gold, a hug that made you feel warm and a smile that told you he is a freind. To know Punky is a gift. We will always remember his care and friendship.

I found myself thinking about my Uncle today and thought about this website. I truly appreciate all the entries that our family received and all those that attend the services. It makes days like this a little easier to bear when he is missed. I will never forget what he did for me....when I have the choice Uncle Punky I will dance!

We are all so sorry to hear about the passing of Punky. He was one of our favorite customers at The Hunt Club. His smile will be missed by all of us.

We will miss Punky with his wonderful laughter and all the great fun times we had together. Punky would visit Grandma Hoard at Pleasant Lake and one summer we played cowboys and indians. He tied me to a tree at my age of 8 and left me. Can't remember who untied me....but from that day forward Punky & I became very good friends. There are so many happy memories of times together. We send our prayers to the Family and Patty. God brings home the best and Punky is one of them.

John
