My wife and I enjoyed many happy conversations with Howard and his dear wife at Wendy's restaurant in Bellingham. I was amazed at how much iced tea Howard could consume. They were always kind and gracious and told us many stories of their life together. One that stands out is that, if my memory serves me correctly, they were both baptised by Charles E Fuller, well-known evangelist and founder of the Old-fashioned Revival Hour, which aired on radio for many years.
