Not sure what to say?

Howard was a dear friend and mentor, one of Elizabeth most notable citizens. His memory is ledgendary.

Howard was a special cousin. We spent a lot of time together as children and as we grew into adulthood. He was more than a cousin. He was my big brother. I will miss his funny jokes and his phone calls. We called one another at least twice a week. Howard fulfilled his purpose in this life as he alway said I will do things MY WAY.
REST IN PEACE MY DEAR COUSIN.

Mr. McKenzie was a great person to me and to all he encountered. I am more than blessed to have known him. I grew up with Howie and he treated me as if I was one of his own. Thank you. God bless you and your family

Howard was a wonderful man. He lived a few doors away from my parents in Florida. He would check on my Dad every day when he was recently ill. In December my mom was away for a few days, Howard found my Dad on the floor and somehow picked him up. Dad is not a small man. Howard may have saved his life. Howard was a very warm and caring person and my family will miss him.

TO THE FAMILY,
HOWARD WILL BE MISSED THE VISIT'S THE PHONE CONVERSATIONS THE CARING WAY HE DISPLAYED THRU OUT HIS LIFE TO ALL HE WAS A GOOD PERSON WITH A BIG HEART WHAT HE LEAVE'S BEHIND IS THE BEST PART OF HIM AND THAT IS HIS FAMILY WHICH HE TRUELY LOVED

NORMA JEAN ARMSTRONG

Ms. Emma, Serena, and little Howie, our condolences to you all. I pray that God holds you tight in His comforting arms, and warm memories will soothe your soul.

Your family joined with my family before my birth. My father and Mr. Howard have been life long friends. And I thank you for allowing me to have been part of your family for so many years. He will be missed, and you are in our prayers.

God bless you,

Mrs. Robin Baltimore-Brown & family
Mr. Simon Davis Jr.

Howard was one of the best. I worked with him as Chairman of the Elizabeth Human Relations Committee and as Director of the Department of Health, Welfare and Housing. I missed him ever since he retired. God Grant Him Eternal Memory!

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

To the McKenzie Family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Howard was a good friend to me and all my family. He helped my mother look out for my brother Alvin, when he got into trouble. Howard and I also worked together at George Washington School # 1 just previous to his retirement. He was trully a good friend to me and the entire Hunter family. We will miss him more than simple words can expess. God bless you all.
Sincerely,
William A. Hunter, Jr. and family
