So sorry to hear of your loss. Mr. Mac was my chemistry teacher at La Vega High School in Bellmead,TX. I graduated in 1966. I have fond memories of Mr. Mac. I remember one assignment where we had to take a picture and develop it ourselves in the chemistry lab. What an experience for a small town girl! All the high school girls had a crush on him. What fun times we had. Thanks for the memories, Mr. Mac.

Howard was a great man. He was my first pitching coach, and not only did he teach me how to pitch he taught me how to live life. He put so much effort when he didn't even have to.Everytime I would come in there with a bad attitude he was sit there and just tell me jokes over and over again until I was smiling. He showed me the true meaning of life and always had great advice. Howard is one of those people that you can never forget. No matter where or how old you are you can never forget him,...

I'll always remember Mr. McMillan several years ago at the Sachse Hardware Store. He was quick to find your part and quick with a unique story.
More recently, when I had lunch At the Ballard Street Cafe, Mr. McMillan was a regular at the lunch counter.
He touched many people with his charming personality.
My deepest sympathy to the family.
Sincerely,
Terry Smith

I would like to express my upmost sympathy to your family. Howard is a very special man, who had an amazing impact on lots of young ladies. His dedication to the girls who came to him for pitching is one of the most admirable things I have ever seen. He made them great pitchers, but more importantly he taught them character and taught them to believe in themselves. His knowledge of the game and the love he showed many will always shine, everytime one of his girls steps on the mound....
