Howard built our house on Pete's Mountain road many years ago and many times after flew me to several corporate events. One particular evening I caused us to get a late start for Westminster B C. As we were north of Seattle Howard woke me to enjoy a magnificent display of the northern lights. He said it was wholly to him and I agreed!

I so enjoyed knowing Howard both as a builder and customer and pilot when needed. He built our beautiful Pete's Mountain house south of West Linn. He also helped my corporate business by flying me in his beloved Mooney. Micheal Wells

Howard Means made my life richer. As a friend he took me flying, we took sailing trips together to San Juan and with our spouses to Greece. He allowed me to assist in making the coffin for Ken Wallins, which was an honor As a mentor he gave me helpful insights on construction when I was a young architect. He introduced me to welding and continued to give me input on techniques. He was enormously helpful in teaming up on my welding projects including our grape arbor and a wonderful roof over...

That was a wonderful obituary about Howard. We learned some new things about Howard. What a talented, giving man. Charles loved flying with him and most of all just spending time with him.
