Not sure what to say?

Mr. Nourse was one of my teachers at Defiance High School in Defiance ,Ohio in the late 60's We all loved Mr. Nourse .He was a sincere good man ,and fun to be around . Rest in peace sir .You will surely be missed.........

Howie was a dear friend whom I hired to be athletic director and head basketball coach, he lived across the street from us and our kids spent years together. That extra-long Howie would fold and unfold into my little airplane (with his knees in his face) and we would fly the multi-state area recruiting HS basketball players. Motels were always interesting as Howie would put a chair at the end of the bed, undo the bedding and have an instant extension as needed. A special man and a special...

Coach, mentor, father figure and above all a wonderful and caring friend. That was Howie for sure.

A person has many special highlights as they go through life. The day I meant Howie at John Wesley was one of them for me. From that moment on it was just wonderful memories. May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

Judy and family - Sad to see this news. Please know you are in the thoughts and prayers of many Buckeyes in West Michigan who have fond memories of a wonderful man named Howard Nourse.

Judy, Cathy, Connie and Rob, I am so very sorry. Howie and Judy were like young, cool parents to many of us at JWC. Available with advice, direction, encouragement and praise. All while raising 3 awesome kids of their own. The years I worked with Howie, at JWC and after, he taught me, tolerated me, and looked out for me. He expected the best from me, just as he did his ball teams, and that’s what you do when you care about someone and you want them to experience the great feeling of...

Judy -- I'm so sorry to hear of Howie's passing. I have many great memories of our time together at The Timothy Group. My thoughts and prayers will be with you in the days ahead.
