Other memories...Howard started his college years at Penn State University and finished at Pacific Lutheran University, Washington.
He also owned and operated his Diner, "Coffee Time-One Dime" in Wyoming and published the "Coffee-Time" Newsletter.
Wherever he resided, you were sure to meet him in the library or a local eatery having coffee, and greeting you with his big smile and "hey!".

My thoughts are with the family. I have known Howard all my life, He was a great Uncle to my two sons and always considered me a niece. (though I wasn't) I work at the library and had many interesting conversations with him. He was passionate in what ever he did and had a great love for God and family. I will miss him.

I had only met Howard twice, the last time only days before his passing into Heaven. Howard was an engaging person and I liked him right away. I will miss the chats we could have had. I believe he was a wonderful man. Go in Peace Howard

Howard was a wonderful friend to both of us, he will be sorely missed. He was very passionate about politics and love to do what he did. And we both met him at the Towanda Public Library. Howard, may you rest in peace.....
