Howard L. Page

My sincere condolences to the Page and Wharton families. I worked with Howard at IBM Charlotte in the mid to late 90's. We travelled to upstate New York on numerous business trips during our time together. I remember visiting his parents graves in New Berlin in a driving snowstorm. Like most Marines, he had a sharp tongue but was one of the most honest and trustworthy people that I ever worked with. We would end most every day enjoying a fermented malty beverage or two. I am sorry to hear of Howard's passing. I worked with Howard in the Charlotte Lab on the Intelligent Voice Response Systems. We had a great time together, even took a few trips to customer sites. I remember he was a crossword puzzle master. He always enjoyed when I would bring Klondike bars to work. I often think of him saying "Better never than late". He had a great dry wit that I really enjoyed. I hope you will be consoled by the fond memories you have as will I.
