Senator Pollock will always be remembered for his great contribution to the State of Alaska and the people he served. He assisted and helped a great number of people. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Pollock Family on this sad day. It was a privilege to have known him and memories and the respect he will always have.

What an amazing man! My late mother, Nadine (Williams) Price was a big fan. She worked for the legislature and was fortunate to know him, along with so many other great Alaskans. My late uncle, Vernon Metcalfe, also served in the territorial legislature. I'd like to think that they and other old time Alaskans who did so much for our state are having a lively political discussion at this very time!

As a young child in Unalakleet, AK I met Howard W. Pollock as he campaigned for US Congressman. He became a special friend to my great-grandmother, Marion Gonangnan. I recall the buttons People, Pollock, Progress. Like Uncle Ted, he was well respected. My condolences to the family. May he be welcomed by his special friend.

To the entire Pollock family thank you for the many years of service to our state and nation. Howard was a dedicated public servant and a man of principle who believed in the greatness of our country.
Alaskans owe a debt of gratitude to a man who served his country so well.

Howard Pollock was indeed a part of Alaska's early political history and I remember him well. In 50-50 hindsight if he hadn't come home to run for Governor - he'd probably still be representing Alaska in the U.S.Congress. Best regards to his family
