Howard was a good friend and neighbor that will be missed but never forgotten. When I was a junior in high school, I planned on going to the skill center for building trades. Although I have never met Howard, I feel like I know him a little through my many conversations I've had over the years with his son, Brian, while walking the halls at Consumers Energy. I heard from Brian about how his dad was a dedicated Consumers Energy employee, friend to many, and a loved father and grandfather. I heard how he was respected by his peers and lead by example. Howie was one of the nicest guys I have ever worked with at Consumers. So sorry for the family's loss.

Howard was always up to the challenge of creating that special thing that was needed to make something work. Always glad to see you and offer a cup of coffee and a chair to sit and visit. He´ll be missed. Mike Brooks
