Not sure what to say?

I knew Howard for a number of years through hiking and cross-country skiing. I have fond memories of him playing his fiddle at our Hike and Hoof dances. Howard was a warm, kind person and I will miss him. My sincerest condolences to his family.

I was way north hiking in the Temiskaming back country when a friend mentioned that Howard had passed away a few days earlier. It saddens me to hear this and my heart goes out to his family and close friends.
Howard was a kind person who helped me on many occasions above and beyond most people. Although he will be dearly missed Howard is around us in Spirit.
God Bless

Very saddened to hear of Howard's passing - he was a hiking/cycling buddy of mine for 15+ years. I will miss his presence on the trails and his kind, thoughtful ways.

So Shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Howard Ray. Howard, Ray Bieleskie, Joe and friends would make music a couple of times a year at Ray's house house. Howard always had a great spirit about him with his music, but also his love of life. Condolences to his family. Rest in Peace Howard.

I missed my Nova Scotia and its culture and Howard helped fill that gap with our great discussions of fiddling, as well. My deepest regrets go out to all Howard's family. He truly was a gentle soul and a wonderful man. I will continue to...

My deepest condolences to Howard's family and friends, our friendship goes back decades ago, when Howard was leading hiking trips and cycling trips, lots of fond memories, we are all shocked to hear his sudden death, may God gives the family strength to overcome this tragedy.
