HOWARD L. RESNIKOFF

I am so sad to learn of Dr. Resnikoff's death. He was my freshman math (calculus) teacher at Rice in fall/spring 1966-67 ... and he was my all-time favorite math teacher. He brought the the theories and formulae alive and connected them with real-world conditions and problems. He was an absolute delight.

I so enjoyed, years later, meeting him again on a cross-country airline flight. (He was working with Thinking Machines at the time.)
