Not sure what to say?

Pastor Rickey was our pastor at Lakeview Park in Oklahoma City and later on we would see him at Denver First Church when he would visit from time to time. I would have to say that, of all the pastors I have had in my life, Howard Rickey was my favorite. He was very easy to talk to and had a great sense of humor. I still remember some of the sermons he preached. I learned a lot from him. My prayers go out to all his family.

I wondered how "uncle Howard" was, now I know where he is.I was from Norman's DC church, My husband was from Norman's in B'ham, we know someone from Bethel, Detroit, and my mom was from Arlington 1st, VA.It is a small world.Prayers & sympathy to all of the family

Heaven has gained a blessing! We have known Howard since the early 1970's. He was always so much fun to be with and of course, always an inspiration. His family has a great heritage and we know they will continue in it. God bless each of you.

John , Penny & family : Loved Pastor Rickey & saddened to read of his passing . Big influence on my decision to accept Christ as my personal savior in September of '78 . Also enjoyed his competitiveness & of course enjoyed plying softball w/ you , John . My prayers & condolences to his entire family .

We will really miss Howard Rickey. So much enjoyed talking to him on Sunday mornings. Remember seeing him at a lot of girls basketball games at cedarville university. A man of great faith.

Penny, For some reason today the Lord brought you to mind. I just googled you and found here that your dad has gone Home. I am so sorry for your loss. I will be thinking of you, praying for you and your family. With warmest memories,

Rickey family, So sorry for your loss. He liked to tease with me when he saw me in the dining room at Wright Place Apartments.

John and family, my deepest sympathy to all on the loss of my best friend "Rick". The times we spent together as friends and the experiences we had will never be forgotten or repeated again. We often talked about times like this and what it would be like to say, "I've just seen Jesus", and now Rick knows. Kinda jealous I couldn't have gone with him. May you be at peace and know your had a great Dad and grandpa. See ya later Rick!
